Attention was turned to a more permanent sign to welcome air passengers to Wellington and after the original uproar over the proposed  Wellywood idea.

The design provides a regular/irregular spiral stair forming a double helix that cantilevers out over the water within a wharf cut out, standing on four existing piles.

Stevensons were contracted to undertake the structural steel of this project in October 2010 to August 2011. The project was run as a design/build contract by Fletcher Construction Ltd.

Windsor Engineering Limited purchased an existing building and part of our brief was to raise the centre bay 5.5M higher than what was originally there.

Stevensons Structural was awarded this prestigious contract with Dulux in August 2010.

Stevensons was contracted for supply and erection of structural steel for the Institute of Maori Lifestyle Advancement (IMLA).

Stevensons was contracted to install Wind Turbines at the Te Rere Hau Wind Farm located on the hills boarding the Manawatu Region.

The job is in excess of 400 tonne and we have 5 – 10 staff on site.

Construction started on LAV (Light Armoured Vehicle) Workshop in the middle of February 2010 at Linton Military Camp.

As part of a $14.3m expansion for Mars Petcare in Whanganui, Stevensons Structural provided over 80 tonnes of structural steel, to both a local principle building contractor and the end client.
